1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website or third party stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can remember information without using a cookie. This policy uses “cookies” as a convenient term for both, while the table identifies the actual technology.
2. Current live-site audit
On 8 September 2026, the public site loaded no active Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, embedded map, video or booking script before consent. No public-site cookie was visible to JavaScript. The contact page currently shows direct WhatsApp and email links rather than an embedded booking service.
The codebase is prepared for optional GA4 and Meta Pixel identifiers, but those identifiers were not present in the live page. Their loaders remain consent-gated so they cannot make a network request unless the relevant category is accepted.
3. Storage currently used
| Name | Provider / technology | Purpose | Duration | Category / consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
atelier-consent-v2 | Atelier Frame · browser local storage | Records whether necessary, analytics and marketing categories were accepted or rejected, plus the consent version and date. | Until browser storage is cleared or the consent version changes. | Necessary. No consent required. |
The consent record is necessary because it prevents the banner appearing on every page and lets the site apply or withdraw the visitor's choice.
4. Optional integrations present in the code
These services are not currently active on the audited live site. They are listed because the deployed application can enable them through environment settings. The cookie table and this policy must be reviewed if either is activated, because providers can change cookie names and durations.
| Service / typical storage | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration | Required choice |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Google Analytics 4_ga, _ga_<container-id> | Google LLC | Aggregated audience and page-visit measurement. | Commonly up to 2 years; configuration may vary. | Analytics. Prior consent required. |
Meta Pixel_fbp and, in some cases, _fbc | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Advertising attribution, audience measurement and campaign performance. | Commonly up to 3 months; configuration may vary. | Marketing / Advertising. Prior consent required. |
No Google Ads tag or separate advertising cookie integration was found. Site fonts are self-hosted. The quote form and the essential site interface do not require analytics or marketing consent.
5. Cookie categories
- Necessary: storage required to remember privacy choices and provide requested site functions. This category cannot be disabled in the preference panel.
- Analytics: optional measurement that helps understand how visitors use the site. It remains off unless selected.
- Marketing / Advertising: optional advertising measurement and audience technology. It remains off unless selected.
6. How consent works
On a first visit, non-essential categories are off. The banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences at the same level. Choosing custom settings stores only the categories selected.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops future optional tracking, sends the provider's denial/revocation command where available, removes the injected tracker script and attempts to delete first-party-readable tracker cookies. It does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.
7. Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The exact steps depend on the browser. Blocking all storage may cause the consent banner to return on each visit and may affect requested features. Browser “private” or “incognito” sessions usually clear storage when the session closes.
For help, use the privacy or cookie settings in your browser's support documentation. These controls are separate from Atelier Frame's Cookie Settings.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if technologies, purposes or providers change. Questions can be sent to hello@atelierframe.eu. Controller identity details are in the Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.
